TEARS FOR SAIGON

Tears for Saigon pour down from the sky

Tears for Saigon can’t stop asking why

We did not keep our promise and fight ’til the end

The land of Saigon, South Vietnam

Tears for Saigon pour from our hearts

So many dispersed, families ripped apart

Many were stuck and could not escape

Beatings and torture became their cruel fate

Tears for Saigon

Pour down from the sky

Tears for Saigon

Can’t stop asking why

Oh why

I cry

Tears for Saigon, I won’t forget

The glorious culture the music’s in my head

And though I feel shame, we left you too soon

I know I did my part what more could I do

Tears for Saigon

Pour down from

the sky
