Living In The Past

~In a faraway land, we stood fearful and alone,

No way out it seemed, ten thousand miles from home.

~The rockets they came and the mortars did to,

We sent them back double, the hell with you!

~When our time finally came, to get the hell out,

We said goodbye, to all who we cared about.

~But leave we did, and though time has moved on,

Old memories and dreams, disturb us till dawn.

~So welcome home all, who spent time over there,

Find peace and rest easy, in the time you have here.
